As a Barclays Middle Office Analyst within the Investment Banking you will form part of the team that is primarily responsible for providing trade support for various trading desks within Equities business covering Cash Equities and Equity Derviatives. This includes taking ownership of day to day functions and ensuring Operational control requirements are met. In additional to the day to day functions IBMO team plays an integral role in the rapidly growing equities business at Barclays and are key stakeholders in multiple projects and new business ventures.

What will you be doing?
- Providing direct support to Trade lifecycle management for all listed, OTC and securitized derivative products
- Resetting & fixing events, coupon observation, corporation actions and physical settlement of structured products
- Processing post T+0 trade capture, amend and cancellation booking (including life cycles on strucuture products) in the risk system
- Working closely with Trading, Product Control and Market Risk on resolving any queries from internal and external sources
- Preparing complete and accurate regulatory reports in a timely manner e.g. SEBI report, China QFII report etc
- Engaging with Regulatory Control and be aware of all regulatory requirements
- Assisting with break root cause analysis and break resolution, maximizing automatation with a view to minimize manual processing
- Participating in project work involving process improvement, system implementation, new product and UAT Sessions
职位要求：
What we’re looking for:
- 1~2 years relevant experience in Equity Derivatives Trade Support
- Good product knowledge in Equity Derivative products and Asia cash equities markets
- Strong proficiency in advanced Excel or Visual Basic would be beneficial
- Fluent in English with a proficiency in Cantonese and/or Putonghua is a plus as you will be dealing with Asian markets
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Strong data analytic skills and able to produce management information pack for senior management
- Good communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills for service management over offshore teams
- Bachelors Degree in Business or relevant subject or equivalent experience
Where will you be working?
Our offices are situated in the center of Hong Kong’s financial district, at 2 Queen’s Road. Cheung Kong Centre is an investment banking hub that offers panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and Kowloon Peninsula. There is a variety of local amenities and you will be just a short walk from shopping malls, health clubs and multiple transport links.
